On the call, there will be time to brainstorm as a group, write individually, and share back to the group! Please bring a pen and paper or something to write with.
Our program uses BandLab to organize sounds and make original beats. We will be using BandLab to explore aspects of music production & engineering. Be sure to bring a second device (smartphone or tablet) with the BandLab app installed. Participants that are familiar with another music production program can continuing using that program during this week.
It would be ideal for each participant to have a studio quality microphone and a pair of headphones. That being said, ear buds with built in microphones will also do the trick.

We will be using the BandLab for Education app to create beats.
BandLab is the easy-to-use, all-in-one, social music creation platform that we will be using to create beats. Children can continue to explore this app outside of session time to continue to create more and more beats and music.
The Rap Camp will be using the BandLab for Education to create a more secure and safe space for the children to learn.
